As a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry, Sharon brings her expertise in operations, community relationships and overall people management to TheKey. She started with the TheKey as the Operations Manager for Vancouver in 2018, and played an integral role in creating a successful and cohesive team that strives to deliver excellence to seniors in our communities. Sharon now oversees the Canadian scheduling team and works tirelessly to ensure every client has the care they need in place. Her motto for working in the seniors community is simple; "Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value" -Albert Einstein.

Client Success Manager

Cathy is compassionately dedicated to supporting families in making timely and well informed decisions for their loved ones. She has been with TheKey since 2019, and brings with her 37 years of management experience, which focused on customer satisfaction, finding solutions to complex and intricate problems, and working with people to ensure a fun, healthy, and productive work environment. Having the personal experience of living with a family member with Alzheimer's/dementia, and a mother who spent her career in nursing, Cathy brings to the team a unique set of skills that serves our clients with professionalism and care.

Doris Lou
Scheduling Specialist

Having worked for TheKey 11 yrs as Office Administrator, then Staffing Manager, Doris was born, raised and educated in the Philippines. With a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, a College Degree in Psychology, majoring in Clinical Psychology, she also studied law in Boston. With her experience in hospice care, helping those less fortunate is what motivates Doris. In particular, the terminally ill and the those facing end of life care.

For Doris, TheKey has become a second home, a family with strong bonds of friendship and teamwork; a place that provides great opportunities for learning, growth and advancement. As a key member of the team, Doris fills a critical role in the area of Scheduling. The complex task of matching caregivers with clients based on an ever-moving schedule. Excellence and efficiency are her daily goals.

Anna Ranay
Caregiver Ambassadors

Anna began her homecare career with TheKey in 2018, as Human Resources Associate and in 2022 transitioned to her current role as Caregiver Ambassador. Having received a Bachelor in Accountancy degree, Anna brings over 20 years of experience in the field of finance, accounting, human resources and administration. Her management background has been a great asset in ensuring that the caregiver experience throughout their time with TheKey is supported at every step.

As a registered nurse with a Bachelor in Psychology and grief therapy, Elizabeth brings 20 years of extensive nursing and human resources management expertise to TheKey. With 21 years of experience as an HR Manager in the home support sector in Vancouver, BC, the acquisition of talented and skilled home support workers is Elizabeth's major strength. Having worked at TheKey since 2013, her experience includes HR Manager, Employee Care Manager and Recruiter positions. Her comprehensive background, including strong commitment, dedication, and attention to detail, is dedicated to finding the best-talented caregivers to provide The Key's high service standards to our Clients.

Meet Vanja, a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). With a career spanning 19 years in the industry, she has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in acute care, long-term care, community nursing, assisted living, emergency nursing, and discharge planning. Throughout her career, Vanja has dedicated herself to providing the highest level of care to her clients. She has worked with a wide range of individuals, including seniors, adults, and children, and has developed a special passion for senior care.

Vanja understands the unique needs of older individuals, and has a talent for connecting with them and providing the support they need to live healthy and fulfilling lives. In her role as Client Success Manager, Vanja ensures that her clients receive the best possible care and works closely with healthcare providers, and family members to create individualized care plans that meet the specific needs of each client. Vanja is known for her attention to detail, her ability to think critically and her excellent communication skills. Whether working with clients in a hospital, nursing home, or community setting, Vanja remains committed to her clients' well being.

Claudia comes to TheKey with over 20 years experience in the healthcare field. She is a certified Personal Support Worker (PSW) and Medical Office Administrator, which includes 10 years as a scheduling manager. Her experience includes working in long term care, retirement homes, private home support care and palliative care.Bringing all this to the table, Claudia’s focus is to match client’s needs with the appropriate caregivers personality and work experience, so as to provide an exceptional experience for both. Claudia joined TheKey in 2021.

Robin joined TheKey as a weekend manager in 2019 and has since become an indispensable part of the team. With a passion for going above and beyond, Robin loves assisting seniors in any way he can. His HR experience has given him the skills to connect with people from all walks of life and ensure that they receive the best possible care.

Robin's dedication to his work is second to none, and his positive attitude and infectious smile make him a favourite among clients and colleagues alike. Whether it's helping seniors with daily tasks, providing companionship, or simply listening and offering support, Robin's commitment shines through in everything he does.
